Elements of heArt
Our signature program, Elements of heART, provides an introduction to an "artist's basic tool kit" playfully facilitated with a dual focus on developing hard skills and exploration of the ARTIST Character Code. This program empowers growth mindset thinking, fosters curiosity, and builds community through creative exploration of foundational art skills integrated with mindful choice-making. Our model supports social-emotional learning that builds creative problem solving through an emphasis on visual literacy and expressive fluency. Young heARTISTS emerge with a deeper understanding of design thinking as a mode for meaningful innovation and connection. This development becomes synonymous with the values of a courageous and compassionate leader. Our content is visual, our context is character and together our framework is making a vital impact for thousands of K-5 kids in the Bay Area and beyond.
Kid's workbook
Give your little(s) the gift of hours of edutainment with our Elements of heART kid's workbook Little Hands Edition. This engaging activity book contains eight learning adventures that introduce emerging artists to simple interactive prompts that build drawing skills, literacy, and creative problem solving.
With over 200 pages, this book will guide your youngster to new horizons of creativity and character. It was originally designed for K-5 students, but we've since discovered that even high school kids and adults have enjoyed this fun journey!
