Not just an art camp...
At heARTful Kids the arts are so much more than crafts; they are a way of life that unlock deep learning and connection. We use art to build leaders and co-create a culture of belonging, courage, and kindness. At camp, rising 1st-6th graders will experience meaningful growth through:

For us, camp is a verb! Every part of the day is designed with intention, allowing kids to have a mixture of engaging, structured creative exploration balanced with self-directed play time. Every morning begins with a community circle where we discuss the Mindset Mode for the day, co-create a culture of courage and kindness, and play games that help us connect more deeply to the day's themes.

A Typical Camp Day for Heartful Kids
This schedule is an example for one group. We break the kids into several small groups based on age to allow for stronger connections as they travel to their classes. Opening/closing circle, meals, and play time are whole group experiences. The final Friday of camp will be a completely different schedule to prepare for a final Showcase at the end of the day.

Adult to Child Ratio?
Our camper to educator ratio is approximately 6 to 1, sometimes less. We value relationship and intentionally build meaningful connections with each of the kids in our care, while choosing activities that support kids in building new friendships quickly.
Who is camp for?
We welcome all rising 1st-6th graders, especially those who are creatively curious, struggle with confidence or making mistakes, or those craving friendship and real connection.

If you have a rising 7th-9th grader, please apply to our Leaders-In-Training program.
Supporting Neurodiversity?
We work to provide an inclusive and compassionate space that supports kids with different learning styles and needs. Our registration process provides the opportunity to share about your child's specific needs so that we can prepare and train our staff accordingly. If you feel your child might need an aide or therapist to attend with them at camp, please reach out prior to registration.
Payments + Refunds
Refund Policy
Cancellations on or before May 15th: You will receive a refund of the full amount paid, minus a $75 processing fee.
​
Cancellations after May 15th: No cash refund will be issued. Instead, you will receive a credit to your heARTful Kids account, which can be applied to future camps. This credit is valid until July 31st, 2027.
