Arts-integrated learning for public, private, and charter schools across the Bay Area
We partner with schools to bring specialized, arts-integrated programming into the school day. Our residencies are designed with your teachers and goals in mind, and they leave students and staff feeling inspired and appreciated.
Residency Options

12-week and 24-week residencies for TK through 5th grade

Pre-K and middle school programs, a growing part of our work (such as our Leaders-In-Training Program)

Short-term residencies (6-8 weeks) to fill gaps in a school's arts programming, as we did with Mission Education Center
Residency Focus
Every residency is shaped around your school's priorities. Past programs have included:

Our 12-week residencies start at $2,400 for materials, planning, and class time.

Our Team
Our Creative Counselors are seasoned educators and artists, deeply knowledgeable in their art forms. Through ongoing professional development and practice, they create classrooms where curiosity, courage, and creative expression can thrive. Collectively our team holds over 100 years of lived experience facilitating youth.
Support for Your Teachers
We believe real learning happens when everyone involved feels empowered, inspired, and appreciated. That's why we often collaborate directly with classroom teachers during residencies and offer regular professional development for teachers and administrators.
Our Approach
Every program identifies and builds on each student's strengths, and supports areas for growth through shared creative investigation. We weave growth mindset practices throughout, as a playful, ongoing habit that extends beyond the art room.

What does Programming Entail?
Every residency is a little different, because we build it around your school’s goals. Here’s what that usually looks like:

We start with a conversation. We learn about your students, your teachers, and what you hope to see, whether that’s arts skills, social-emotional growth, literacy, or math. This is where we determine whether your goals can be met through a one time professional development workshop, a residency, or a full school-year partnership.

We design the program with you. You can choose one of our signature programs or co-create a custom one. Both work for any length of residency.

Our teaching artists come to your school each week. Sessions invite children into process-based exploration that builds self-discovery, skill-building, creative play, and social skills. We handle planning, materials, and setup, and we’re glad to collaborate with classroom teachers along the way.

We celebrate and reflect. Residencies can end with a culminating exhibit or a debrief on what we observed, so you have something to share with families and leadership.
