All I can say is: it's taking a special kind of discipline to list this dress for sale in the shop and not just keep it in my closet for a special date. If you don't snatch it up, I can't promise I won't. This is one of those lovely "looks better on than on the hanger situations."

∞ COVID considerations: I purposely don't wear these garments while modeling to respect current health considerations, and because when I make them, I can feel when they have a home to go to.
When I make clothes, I can feel when they have a home to go to. There's something almost preverbal, primal, powerful: a rawness and also a deep connection to lineage. Gratitude for my ancestry (my grandmother taught me to sew) and a grace amidst the grittiness of this modern paced life slows me down. Combining cast away clothes/ scraps with lux fabrics represents a process of internal transformation. These garments symbolize our interconnectednss as whole and our uniqueness as an important threads in the tapestry of life. Each piece seems to land with its rightful person to honor their unique journey in a universal search for meaning and love.
