Each activity is a step toward greater well-being through ​
mindfulness and heartfulness.
A growing body of research in neuroscience and education shows a powerful connection between the arts and increased cognitive, social, and emotional development. Even small acts of creativity, when done consistently within the right structure can have a signifiant impact on our well-being.
Art is so much more than drawing or coloring, but the ability to communicate our ideas visually is an increasingly valuable skill in our fast paced world.
Cultivating stronger visual literacy is an opening to developing growth mindset perspectives and practices that we can apply to any endeavor. That's why our programs emphasize the fact that "all humans are artists at heart" and that "great artists do more than make great art; they lead from the heart."

Let us give you the structure. You simply print, hand it to your kiddo, and get them on zoom once per month as a way to support their creativity, character, and growth-mindset thinking.

How INVOLVED DO PARENTS NEED TO BE?
All you need to do for the self-guided membership is print out the activities each month and make sure your kiddo has access to some art supplies. For the Guided by VITA option, you'll want to support your child in getting on zoom via calendar invitation links, but once there you are welcome to step away for the 45 minutes we'll be pARTying. If you feel inspired, you can use the monthly resource guide to help you deepen learning through books, conversations, and family showcases, but your child will have a meaningful experience even if you are not up for this.

For what ages?
These activities are designed for K-8. K-2 will benefit from having an adult read/discuss the content to get the most out of each activity, however they can still glean a lot from independent work. We believe all kids will benefit the most from our heART Club classes guided by Vita, but especially K-2. These materials were created for K-8 kids in our Elements of heART program, but we have been delighted to discover over the years that high schoolers and even many adults enjoy these adventures. Age is but a number and art is for all!

What supplies will we need?
A printer, markers, colored pencils, gel pens, drawing pencils and an eraser are the basics you'll always want to have on hand. Some activities also require scissors and glue sticks. In our heART Club classes guided by VITA and monthly resource guide, we might share ideas that extend prompts with messier media such as watercolors, oil pastels, paint, etc. (For younger children, we recommend asking them to work in timed self-led increments with the basic materials and make agreements about which messy project ideas can be circled back to for parent/child collaboration later if you feel up to it.)

Can siblings share one heART CluB Membership?
Absolutely! You can download and print as many as you'd like. Siblings are welcome to zoom pARTy together.

What IF MY KIDS ARE DIFFERENT AGES?
That's great! There is a huge benefit to having multi-age learners in one learning space.

How long does each activity take?
As long as your heARTIST wants to put in. For more sustained and intentional learning, we recommend joining the Guided by Vita membership for continuity, gentle accountability, and integration supported by Vita.

Payment/ Delivery Dates
Payments will auto-renew every month on the date of your initial order for one year. You will receive new activity bundles on the first Saturday of the month, calendar invitations to zoom classes which take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month, and a resource guide on the last Saturday of the month.

Can I buy in bulk for a classroom or Home event?
Potentially, yes. Please reach out so we can get a sense of what you have in mind and work together to find a solution that fits your specific needs.
